About The Moscow Mule

The Moscow mule is a simple, easy-to-make cocktail that can be enjoyed by anyone in the comfort of their own home.

It’s becoming increasingly popular in cocktail bars and restaurants all around the world because of that gingery alcoholic hit.

High-quality vodka works best with the Moscow mule, so don’t cheap out on some budget supermarket rubbish if you want to make the most of this cocktail.

This spicy, classic cocktail first hit the scene in 1941 and helped contribute to the rise of vodka in America.

Legend has it, John Martin needed to sell Smirnoff vodka, a new and unknown spirit at the time that his distribution company had purchased it.

Another chap, Jack Morgan needed to deplete his ginger beer supply as it was taking up space at his pub.

They decided to combine the ingredients and add a little lime, and so the Moscow Mule was born!
